I love that everyone at ComplyWith works together and wants the absolute best outcome for our clients.
After living in Fiji and Hong Kong, Kate’s family made Wellington their permanent home when she was 9 years old.
Her first job was at Mitre10 where, as a check-out girl, she learnt heaps about DIY that has yet to come in handy during her legal career.
After graduating from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Cell & Molecular Biosciences), Kate left DIY in the past and took on her first role at a specialist litigation firm where she focused on Family and Criminal Law.
Most recently, she worked for New Zealand Rugby as an in-house lawyer where she continued her litigation work while also picking up compliance and regulatory work.
The work that is done here and the real benefits that our clients are getting from using the tool is so exciting.
When Kate isn’t at work, you’ll find her spending as much time as possible with her family and friends, taking in the beautiful New Zealand countryside or kicking back at home listening to one of her favourite records.
Kate’s young son keeps her busy as she tries to give him the best possible day every day; right now, this means going on spider hunts, train rides, plane spotting and playing with him in the outdoors where he is happiest.
